Survivors of Trafficking Achieve Recovery and Stability

The STARS Program at Santa Maria provides safe housing, recovery support, and comprehensive services for adult survivors of human trafficking. We offer a healing-centered approach that supports long-term recovery, independence, and stability—helping each woman reclaim her life on her own terms.

What STARS Offers

We understand the complex trauma that trafficking survivors face. The STARS program provides a secure, trauma-informed environment where participants can begin to heal and rebuild their lives with dignity and support.

Who Is Eligible?

To qualify for the STARS program, participants must:

  • Be a survivor of human trafficking, as defined by the U.S. Department of Justice
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a need for transitional housing and recovery support
